Now for a little bit of fun where you get to chill out on the river. Rather than a stand up paddle board you’ll be sitting in an inflatable river-tube. You will learn that unlike a paddle board these are a whole different craft with totally different paddle techniques. Once you’ve learned the basics though you’ll soon be able to control it and navigate the river.
Starting from Eccleston Ferry, we’ll walk south, following a public right of way until we get to out launch spot. Here I will go over how to control your river-tube. Then we’ll hop on to the water and drift with the flow back to where we started. Depending on how fast the river is flowing and how quick we get back we’ll even try and get another go in.
Photos will be taken throughout the lesson for you to share your new river-tube skills with friends and family.
